What we prepare for NP and PA-led practices.
Bioidentical estrogens
Estradiol, estriol and Bi-Est (estradiol and estriol) as hypoallergenic creams, an olive oil base topical, or vaginal preparations.
Progesterone and DHEA capsules
Oral capsules for progesterone and DHEA, made to order for each patient.
Testosterone for women
A hypoallergenic cream or an olive oil base topical, prepared at the strength your prescriber writes.
Vaginal preparations
Estriol vaginal creams, including estriol combined with DHEA, and a hyaluronic acid vaginal base.
Low dose naltrexone
An oral capsule or a tablet, depending on the strength prescribed.
Custom formulations
Hypoallergenic bases and dye-free, lactose-free or filler-free options, with custom formulas developed on request.

Do you fill prescriptions from nurse practitioners and physician assistants?
Yes. We fill valid prescriptions from nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are authorized to prescribe in the patient’s state, just as we do for physicians. Prescribing authority is set by each state, and for a controlled medication such as testosterone the prescription must also fall within the prescriber’s DEA registration.
What do you compound for NP-led hormone and menopause practices?
Bioidentical estrogens (estradiol, estriol and Bi-Est) as hypoallergenic creams, an olive oil base topical or vaginal preparations; progesterone and DHEA as oral capsules; testosterone for women as a hypoallergenic cream or an olive oil base topical; and low dose naltrexone as an oral capsule or a tablet, depending on the strength prescribed. Custom formulas are developed on request.
Does our practice need to be large to work with you?
No. Any prescriber can send us a prescription for a patient. Practices that want a formal arrangement, such as API intake or branded packaging, set it up through clinic onboarding, and our formulary catalog is shared once onboarding is complete.
Where can ProCompounding ship?
We ship to all 50 states and Washington, DC. Your program’s medication and fulfillment requirements are reviewed during onboarding.
How long does compounding take?
We compound most preparations within 48 hours of receiving a complete, valid prescription and the resolution of any patient, clinical or payment requirements. Custom formulations, controlled medications, high-volume launches and preparations requiring additional testing or release procedures may require additional time. Shipping time is additional.
Will we receive a fulfillment contract and billing terms?
Yes. Fulfillment contracts and billing terms are provided as part of establishing the partnership. Program-specific scope and responsibilities are discussed before rollout.
