Can you help develop a formulation for our hair program?
Yes. Start with a scheduled meeting with our formula development team. Proposed products are researched, developed and tested before staff rollout. A discussion does not guarantee that a proposed formulation can be offered.
Can we connect fulfillment information to our existing platform?
Yes. Multiple API connections are available. Your team and ours will confirm the specific connection and data scope for your program before implementation.
Which hair and scalp preparations do you compound?
Topical scalp solutions built around minoxidil, including combinations with tretinoin, latanoprost and melatonin in a single solution, and oral minoxidil tablets. Each is prepared at the strength the prescriber writes for the named patient.
Do you prepare finasteride for programs that include it?
Yes, as tablets, where the prescriber has decided it is appropriate for that patient. We prepare what is prescribed; the clinical decision, including who it is suitable for, stays with your prescribers.
Can a multi-product regimen ship as one order?
Yes. Where a program pairs a scalp solution with an oral preparation, we can prepare them together and assemble them into a single patient-specific kit, in packaging that carries your branding.
Can you leave out an ingredient a patient reacts to?
Yes. Bases can be prepared without dyes or common irritants, and a pharmacist reviews every formulation before it is made. Send us the prescription with the requirement noted on it.
Where can ProCompounding ship?
We ship to all 50 states and Washington, DC. Your program’s medication and fulfillment requirements are reviewed during onboarding.
How long does compounding take?
We compound most preparations within 48 hours of receiving a complete, valid prescription and the resolution of any patient, clinical or payment requirements. Custom formulations, controlled medications, high-volume launches and preparations requiring additional testing or release procedures may require additional time. Shipping time is additional.
Will we receive a fulfillment contract and billing terms?
Yes. Fulfillment contracts and billing terms are provided as part of establishing the partnership. Program-specific scope and responsibilities are discussed before rollout.
Can we visit your pharmacy before we partner?
Yes. Clinics and partners of any kind are welcome to schedule a site visit to see our operation in Johnson City, Tennessee. Mention it in the form on this page or call 423-975-0597, and we will set a date with you.
