Low dose naltrexone
One of the preparations we make most often: an oral capsule or a tablet, depending on the strength prescribed.
Bioidentical estrogens
Estradiol, estriol and Bi-Est (estradiol and estriol) as hypoallergenic creams, an olive oil base topical, or vaginal preparations.
Testosterone for women
A hypoallergenic cream or an olive oil base topical, prepared at the strength your provider writes.
Progesterone and DHEA capsules
Oral capsules for progesterone and DHEA, made to order for each patient.
Vaginal preparations
Estriol vaginal creams, including estriol combined with DHEA, and a hyaluronic acid vaginal base.

What do you compound for functional medicine practices?
Low dose naltrexone, bioidentical estrogens, testosterone, progesterone and DHEA, and vaginal preparations, with hypoallergenic and dye-free options. Custom formulas are developed on request.
Which hormones do you prepare as oral capsules?
Progesterone and DHEA. Estrogens and testosterone are prepared as hypoallergenic creams, an olive oil base topical, or vaginal preparations.
Can you prepare medications for patients with sensitivities?
Yes. We use hypoallergenic bases and can leave out dyes, lactose or fillers. Tell us what the patient reacts to and our pharmacist will review the formulation.
Can a patient with a peanut allergy take your progesterone capsules?
Our compounded progesterone capsules contain no peanut oil. The commercially manufactured micronized progesterone capsule is made with peanut oil, so a compounded capsule is an option your provider can order for a patient with that allergy. Note the allergy on the prescription and our pharmacist will confirm the formulation before it is made.
Do you prepare LDN as capsules or tablets?
Both. Low dose naltrexone is prepared as an oral capsule or a tablet, depending on the strength your provider specifies. Naltrexone is commercially manufactured only at higher strengths, so low-dose strengths are compounded, and we can leave out dyes or fillers when a patient needs that.
Can you prepare estriol with DHEA as a vaginal cream?
Yes. We prepare estriol with DHEA as a vaginal cream, alongside estriol vaginal cream and a hyaluronic acid vaginal base. Your provider sets the strength of each ingredient, and we prepare it to match.
Can patients move an existing prescription to you?
Yes. A patient can transfer an existing prescription through our prescription transfer page, or your office can send a new one by e-prescribing or through our provider portal. Our pharmacist reviews the formulation before it is prepared, and we ship to patients in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Where can ProCompounding ship?
We ship to all 50 states and Washington, DC. Your program’s medication and fulfillment requirements are reviewed during onboarding.
How long does compounding take?
We compound most preparations within 48 hours of receiving a complete, valid prescription and the resolution of any patient, clinical or payment requirements. Custom formulations, controlled medications, high-volume launches and preparations requiring additional testing or release procedures may require additional time. Shipping time is additional.
Will we receive a fulfillment contract and billing terms?
Yes. Fulfillment contracts and billing terms are provided as part of establishing the partnership. Program-specific scope and responsibilities are discussed before rollout.
Can we visit your pharmacy before we partner?
Yes. Clinics and partners of any kind are welcome to schedule a site visit to see our operation in Johnson City, Tennessee. Mention it in the form on this page or call 423-975-0597, and we will set a date with you.
