Mebendazole is an antiparasitic prescription medication in the benzimidazole class. In the United States it is available only with a prescription from a licensed prescriber, and that is true in Tennessee too. Our pharmacist-review route under Tennessee's collaborative practice agreement (Tenn. Code § 63-10-224) covers ivermectin only and is available to patients in Tennessee, and dispensing is never guaranteed. Mebendazole always starts with a prescription from your own licensed prescriber.
