Jessica Patrone, Pharm.D
President / Owner
Jessica James-Patrone, Pharm. D. has been dedicated to the art of compounding for over 25 years. With her extensive training and expertise in formulation development, she has developed numerous compounded medications. She works routinely with providers to educate and create customized medications to fulfill the needs of each individual patient when traditional treatments have been exhausted. Jessica graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2001 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy and is certified in Pharmacogenomics through the University of Florida. As a middle-aged woman and holding certification in Hormone Replacement, she understands the impact hormone imbalance can have on one's life. Jessica joined the ProCompounding team as a pharmacist in 2016 and looks forward to her continued service to the profession of pharmacy.
Laura Beth Jenks, Pharm.D
Vice President / Co-Owner
Beth Jenks, Pharm.D., is a seasoned specialist in Compounded Medication Development with a focus on Women's Health & Wellness strategies. With a career spanning 18 years, she's adept at crafting unique solutions to complex clinical challenges, especially in Bio-Identical Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and beyond. Beth graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from Appalachian College of Pharmacy and further honed her skills in various roles, leading to her current position as a Co-Owner of ProCompounding Pharmacy. Her journey reflects a blend of clinical expertise, patient education, and product development, all underpinned by a patient-centric approach. Outside of work Beth enjoys fly fishing, sports, spending time outdoors, traveling, making memories with family and friends and her adventure loving black lab, Roxy.
Perry Ripple, III, Pharm.D, BCSCP
Director of Pharmacy
Perry is a dedicated expert in Compounded Medication Development with extensive experience in sterile and non-sterile formulations. With a career spanning over 20 years, he has excelled in diverse pharmacy settings, including compounding, home infusion, retail, and hospital pharmacy. A graduate of Campbell University with a Doctor of Pharmacy, Perry has continually advanced his expertise, focusing on customized solutions for complex patient needs. Perry's career journey includes contributions at Mission Hospital in Asheville and a pivotal role during the early days of ProCompounding Pharmacy, formerly Wilson Pharmacy. Now rejoining the team, he brings a patient-first mindset and a passion for delivering innovative, personalized care. When not in the lab, Perry is dangerously obsessed with BBQ — if he's not smoking a brisket, he's judging yours. His family has learned to accept that "low and slow" applies to both his compounding and his cooking.
Bill Colburn, Pharm.D
Pharmacist in Charge
Bill Colburn, PharmD is a 1998 graduate of the University of Tennessee and having been a pharmacist for almost 30 years, Bill has had the blessed opportunity to practice in many different settings including home infusion, retail pharmacy, long term care and compounding. Having been a pharmacy owner himself he brings a vast knowledge of patient centered care and a passion for independent pharmacies. His belief in service is strengthened by being a veteran of the US Army. When work is over, Bill likes to spend time outside with home projects and working in the yard. In the fall you can find him at a local high school refereeing high school football or at a UT sporting event. Bill and his girlfriend are RV'ers and spend a lot of time outdoors. He has two kids who are making their own marks on the world.
Cephas Sloan III, Pharm.D
Compounding Pharmacist
Cephas is a pharmacist with 14 years of experience delivering personalized, patient-centered care. A native of East Tennessee, he earned his degree from the Appalachian College of Pharmacy and has built his career on developing strong, trusted relationships with both patients and healthcare providers. With extensive experience working directly with patients, he focuses on understanding individual needs and developing practical, effective solutions in collaboration with prescribers. His approach is grounded in clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving optimal patient outcomes. Patient education remains a core priority, ensuring individuals are well informed and equipped to actively manage their health. Ongoing engagement with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, supports thorough evaluation and informed decision-making in complex clinical situations. Outside of his professional work, Cephas enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, Brynlee and Beckett. A dedicated Tennessee Volunteers fan, he values staying active, traveling, and spending time outdoors. He also enjoys home improvement projects and applying practical problem-solving skills to everyday challenges, along with seeking out exceptional food and meaningful experiences.

Kate graduated from William Peace University in 2003 with a BA in Communication and Psychology. She has over 20 years of sales, marketing, customer service, and leadership experience, with 10 of those years in the orthopedic device, pharmaceutical, and compounding industry. Kate is known for her infectious positive energy and has a true passion for connecting and building relationships with her providers and their staff.
