    WHAT IT IS

    A prescription antiparasitic,
    prepared to order.

If you would like to raise it with your prescriber, our guide on how to ask your doctor about compounded medication can help you start that conversation.

Albendazole is a benzimidazole, the same class of medication as mebendazole. In the United States it is available only with a prescription from a licensed prescriber, and that is true in Tennessee too. We compound albendazole as a capsule at the strength your prescriber writes.

Our pharmacist-review route under Tennessee's collaborative practice agreement (Tenn. Code § 63-10-224) covers ivermectin only and is available to patients in Tennessee, and dispensing is never guaranteed. Albendazole always starts with a prescription from your own licensed prescriber, wherever you live. No prescriber yet? Tell us what you need and we will email you your options.

If your prescriber orders more than one medication, such as albendazole with compounded ivermectin, we fill them together. Whether albendazole is right for you, at what strength and for how long, are decisions for you and your prescriber. Tell them about everything else you take, including over-the-counter products and supplements.

    QUESTIONS PATIENTS ASK US

    The things
    worth knowing.

Call 423-975-0597 for current pricing and shipping options for your state.

Do I need a prescription for albendazole?

Yes. Albendazole is a prescription medication in the United States, in every state including Tennessee. Your prescriber decides whether it is right for you and at what strength. We do not prescribe; we prepare what your prescriber orders.

Is albendazole the same as mebendazole?

No. Both are benzimidazole antiparasitic medications, but they are different medications. Which one is right for you is your prescriber's decision, and we compound both.

I don't have a prescriber. What are my options?

Use our prescription request page to tell us what you need, and we will email you your options. That includes how your own provider can send us a prescription and licensed telehealth services that can evaluate you.

Can I pick it up instead of having it shipped?

Yes. You can pick up your albendazole at our pharmacy in Johnson City, Tennessee, or have it shipped to your home.

Can you ship to my state, and how long does it take?

We are licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. We have a 48-hour compounding time on most preparations. Shipping time is additional and varies by destination. A member of our team confirms the price with you before anything is processed, made, or shipped.
