ProCompounding Pharmacy is looking for a Procurement Manager to own purchasing and inventory performance across the pharmacy — the person who makes sure the ingredients, medications, and supplies we need are on the shelf, at the right price, before anyone has to ask.
What you'll be responsible for
- Own purchasing and inventory performance across the pharmacy
- Build and manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and terms
- Identify sourcing challenges and monitor market conditions for shortages
- Develop inventory strategies that balance growth with cost control
- Forecast demand alongside leadership
- Improve purchasing processes and reporting
- Evaluate supplier performance
- Manage purchasing of compounding ingredients, medications, OTC products, packaging, and lab supplies
What we're looking for
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear communicator
- Comfortable with inventory systems and spreadsheets
Preferred
- Pharmacy or healthcare background
- Familiarity with DSCSA, DEA, and USP requirements
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Pharmacy technician license or procurement certification
