It is estimated that four out of five American men over the age of 40 suffer from “LOW T” (low testosterone), which can lead to “male menopause,” also called andropause.

Hormones affect many areas of your health, including your energy level, sexual function, mood, and overall well-being.  If your hormones become unbalanced, whether due to “andropause” or other factors, you may feel like you’ve lost your zest for life.  Men are living longer, more active lives and are seeking to find relief from the serious symptoms of low testosterone.   Hormone therapy can help you restore balance and feel like yourself again.

What is Andropause?

Andropause is the result of low testosterone levels in the male body. Over time, the body naturally produces less of the hormone testosterone which can lead to health problems such a heart disease and bone density depletion and an overall reduced quality of life.

Symptoms of andropause usually occur during midlife. It is shown that testosterone production drops every year after the age of 30. By age 70, a man’s testosterone levels may be cut in half.
